Communication on the blockchain

Communication on the blockchain: Greenfriendly-Messenger as a pilot project on LUNC

With Greenfriendly-Messenger, Greenfriendlylabs shows that communication on the blockchain is no longer a vision of the future, but can already become reality. Based on the LUNC blockchain (Terra Classic), a system is being created that enables decentralized, encrypted message transmission – independent of central servers, databases, or traditional platform operators. Even though the project is currently still in the testing phase, it impressively demonstrates how secure, transparent, and responsible communication can be implemented in a decentralized environment.

Decentralized communication with optional encryption

Unlike conventional messengers, Green Friendly Messenger operates entirely in a decentralized manner. Every message is transmitted via the blockchain itself and stored there permanently. Users can individually specify whether a message is sent encrypted (256-bit) or unencrypted.

This ensures maximum data sovereignty and privacy:
🌱 No central authority can read, modify, or delete messages.
🌱 The blockchain ensures integrity, traceability, and consistency.
🌱 Optional encryption protects sensitive content at the highest technical level.

Group chats are not currently planned, the focus is on direct, secure peer-to-peer communication between two wallet addresses.

Transaction costs, premium feature, and GFT tokens

Like every action on the LUNC blockchain, sending messages incurs low transaction costs, which are paid in LUNC. These fees ensure the functionality and decentralization of the network.

In addition, there are plans to allow users to activate premium features in the future, which will be processed via the GFT token (Green Friendly Token).
This token plays a central role in the Greenfriendlylabs ecosystem, not only as an access key to advanced messenger features, but also as a bridge to the real world:

An essential part of the vision is to promote sustainable projects in real life, for example, in the environmental, educational, or social sectors – via smart contracts, transactions, or the GFT token. This creates a direct link between digital activity on the blockchain and concrete ecological benefits.

Technical implementation and user experience

The messenger automatically updates every 6 to 8 seconds to reload new messages. This keeps communication up to date without the user having to intervene, a technical challenge that has been elegantly solved in a decentralized environment.

The responsive design has been optimized for portrait mode use on mobile devices. Initial tests show stable display on various smartphones and tablets. Nevertheless, there are still minor optimizations to the layout that will be implemented as part of further development.

Greenfriendlylabs follows a clear principle: technical progress should be responsible and sustainable, not at any price. Innovation only makes sense if it goes hand in hand with ecological awareness and social responsibility. This is precisely what distinguishes Green Friendly Messenger from purely commercial blockchain projects.

A pilot project with a future and a stance

Green Friendly Messenger does not see itself as competition to existing communication platforms such as Telegram or Signal. Instead, it is a pilot project designed to prove that secure, private, and sustainable communication is feasible on the blockchain. It shows that technological independence and ecological responsibility are not contradictory, but can reinforce each other. The combination of data sovereignty, energy efficiency, and social engagement creates a model that fulfills the claim of being β€œgreen friendly” in both content and technology.

Wrap-up

The Green Friendly Messenger is more than just a technical experiment, it offers a glimpse into a responsible digital future. With optional 256-bit encryption, automatic synchronization, GFT token integration, and a clear focus on sustainability, it demonstrates that blockchain communication can be secure, decentralized, and environmentally conscious at the same time.

Even though the project is still in the testing phase, one thing is certain:
True innovation arises where technology, responsibility, and sustainability come together – exactly where Greenfriendlylabs comes in.
